Immediate danger or emergency
If someone is in immediate danger, needs urgent medical help, or an emergency is happening now, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service first. KCC email and website reporting pathways are not emergency services.
For non-emergency concerns
Email our dedicated safety address at safety@kidscarsandcoffee.com. Share only the information needed to understand the concern. Please avoid sending medical records, school records, court documents, diagnoses, or other sensitive records by ordinary email.
Email a youth safety concern
This mailbox is reserved for youth-safety, conduct, and boundary concerns and is separated from ordinary event and participation questions.
Concerns can be reported at any time
Concerns about any KCC-connected adult may be reported whether the conduct happened at a KCC event, online, or elsewhere. Reporting remains available even when the interaction was outside KCC’s authorized group activities.
At an event
Go to the KCC check-in area and ask for the Event Safety Lead. The onsite safety contact will be identified for each event.
What happens next
We will acknowledge non-emergency safety messages as soon as practical and route them for review. The next step depends on the nature of the concern and may include follow-up questions, limiting participation, documenting the issue, or referring the matter to the appropriate authority when required.
Outside reporting resources
You may contact law enforcement or your state or county child protective services directly. For guidance and referrals related to suspected child abuse or neglect, the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline is available 24/7 by call, text, or chat at 1-800-422-4453.
For suspected child sexual exploitation, including online exploitation, use the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children CyberTipline.
